William Peter Lamale sent this letter in 1912 to Cornell President James Harlan as a final acceptance of a job teaching pipe organ, history of music and piano. He taught at Cornell from 1912 to 1914. He died June 19, 1969 in Mansfield, Ohio. His wife, Maude Hughes, taught voice at Cornell from 1913 to 1915. She died June 5, 1967 in Mansfield, Ohio.
