Collection Policy

In accordance with the mission of the Cornell College Archives, we work with academic departments and administrative offices to collect official college records, files, and documents of permanent value. In addition to these institutional records, artifacts such as faculty papers, letters and reminiscences of alumni/ae, reunion keepsakes, and photographs enrich the college history and are welcome in the Archives. Furthermore, we welcome donations of privately owned material that demonstrates the experiences of the College community, provided that the Archives becomes the sole owner and that the Archives incurs no obligation to retain the material.
